The adventure include a lot of hours to move from one place to another but the car was comfortable and the the driver Takhat was really nice and kind. Every time that we needed information, Karni, our internal contact from Swastik, answered and acted promptly. The only note is that some hotels were really nice and clean but some others were less comfortable and the people who worked there often didn't speak English.

For The Love of Taj & Tiger - Golden Triangle of India & Ranthambore with 3 Tiger SafarisWe had a wonderful 8 days with MTA -tour radar. We enjoyed our kind driver Manu who tried to accommodate our every wish - while managing to drive the busy crazy streets of India. Each guide was unique and explained the sights well. We had fun on the Jeep safaris and saw beautiful landscapes and some animals but seeing a tiger is rare. The hotels were acceptable- said 4 star but realty 3-3.5 USA saying that - the service was excellent and we were in remote places. The food was delicious- repetitive after a ew days but it’s India so Curry’s and dal! We would recommend it to anyone not wanting to be in a large group. As a credit to MTA tours we were well cared for and checked in on - often. We also enjoyed private dinner and cooking in Jaipur. We would recommend paying major tips in advance- this became awkward- with finding atms and getting small bills. Overall really fun and worthwhile!

I had multiple ongoing WhatsApp conversations with Amit in preparation for our trip…always helpful and courteous. Tour ran smoothly throughout - in particular - kids very chuffed with tiger, leopard and sloth bear sightings in Ranthambhore, Fatehpur Sikri was a surprise and the Taj Mahal definitely lived up to the hype!

This review was long overdue. Being an Indian living abroad in California, USA. Had work in India and then had some spare time for 11 days. Decided to pick this trip from amongst the many. So, to sum up: overall decent (most went as expected) except for few glitches. So a long and comprehensive review: I have no complaints against the company: Swastik Travels. Both Mrs. Karni and Mr. Chowdary were always very responsive and prompt with my queries both before and during the trip as well. Since, I was a solo passenger, was suppose to have an Ethos (small compact car) for myself (& luggage), but instead - fortunate to have Innova car thru-out the trip and thus had an extremely comfortable ride all 11 days (with full blast a/c shielding me from the hot April summer season in India). What disappointed me are the Guides, Driver (Amar) and how these commissions framework works in entire Tourism industry in India. Being an Indian and having lived in India, I of course, have general sense of general prices of Indian items. But, I feel I have been massively ripped off for most touristy items I purchased. Very disappointed. My driver (I am still not sure if he is really being honest or another person in this crooked system), he kept taking me to random shops where he has commissions tied up as well and later reports that this is the cheapest available. However, in the end when I read reviews of these shops on Google Maps - all reviews conveyed the same i.e., they are tourist traps (were customer over pays to cover guides/Driver's commission). So, honestly, I don't even know the exact price (that I can recommend to a friend or family member). How absurd is that? No clue if I overpaid/underpaid for 2 Rajasthani paintings,...
