The Acoustic Energy AE1 Active Speaker is a two-way standmount speaker that features integrated class A/B amplification and fully active filter networks. With Acoustic Energy's legendary pure piston ceramic aluminium cone technology, the AE1 Active Speakers have the same impact as you would expect from the original AE1, only housed in a self-powered, fully-active package. The proprietary aluminium dome tweeter included has been designed by Acoustic Energy along with their unique WDT waveguide to provide improved coverage and room integration.
Comfortable in the studio or in your home in equal measure, the Acoustic Energy AE1 Active Speaker includes the added benefit of adjustable bass and choices of RCA or balanced XLR connections. The AE1 will seamlessly blends into any listening environment. Many other impressive features are included, such as: two 50 watt linear supply class a/b amplifiers, active 4th order minimum phase crossover, a fully analogue architecture, adjustable volume control on each speaker, and a wide dispersion technology waveguide for enhanced room integration.
